Check back often for reviews and posts and new releases. Below on the right is a list of books and their reading order. Looking forward to sharing with everyone...:)

Is Amazon censoring again?

I know there's a lot of people who think this is okay because it's child pornography or rape or whatever, but here's the issue.

One of the most popular shows right now on television is based on a series of books that contain incest, rape, sex of a 30 year old man and a 14 year old girl, and lord knows what else. It's called Game of Thrones. You don't hear anyone complaining about these books, yet they have everything in them that are in the others. If you ban one, you need to ban them all or none of them. Authors have been using shock and awe to sell books for a while--warning labels, risky titles and covers, whatever they can to get noticed because let's face it, it's tough out there now. Sales are falling across the board due to a massive influx of titles and the economy. And as much as some hate to admit it, there are ALOT of readers out there that like the edgy, darker erotica. If you don't believe that look at the sales ranking for The Dark Duet.

This kind of thing tends to have a snowball effect. They start with stories about underage girls or incest, then it goes to BDSM, then manage stories, then gay stories. Everything out there offends someone. Even the sweet, Christian romances offend some people. There is nothing that doesn't offend someone. So who makes the judgment call? Who draws the line? Someone who has a strong stomach and isn't easily offended or the opposite?  If you let them get away with this, then this is only the beginning.
