New year goals...

I have them. I just hope that I can keep them...:)

Do you ever do that? Make goals only to drop them by the middle of January? I'm determined to not do that this year. I'm determined to get back into writing.

2019 has been such a sucky year in a lot of ways, especially in the writing arena. Too much drama. Too many issues with publishers closing down. Writing has lost its magic and become too much work. I now have to find my own cover artist, find an editor, format. I have no idea how to format. None. I suck at it.

So...I haven't written in a while.

The stories are there, I've just lost the desire to write them down. I probably shouldn't say that. I haven't really lost the desire to write them down. I want to write them down, I just hate the thought of the work that comes after that. I want to go back to the days where all I do is write and let someone else handle the actual work part...:)

But this year I'm determined to change that. I want to continue to write and I will. I'll get those stories down and hopefully, get them published.

That's my goal for 2020. To start writing again.

The perfect camping trip

Okay, maybe not from my perspective, but certainly from my husband's..lol. As you all know, my husband loves to fish. Being on the lake in his boat is his happy place.

I can tolerate the boat for a while, but with my fair skin, the sun gets to me after a bit. Which is why you'll usually see me in long sleeves and a hat..:)

And nope. Still will not hold the fish..lol

For this trip, we took the camper to Blue Water resort in Dayton, Tn. It's a really nice campground on the lake and one of the only ones I've found so far that will let you keep your boat on the campsite with you. They cater to fisherman and I really like that. It makes it so much easier when you have a big 5th wheel and a boat.

The view from our campsite was pretty nice too. Even our dog, Nay-Nay liked it..:)

I especially liked the swing. I sat in that thing every morning and enjoyed a cup of tea watching the boats go by.

And of course, there were also the sunsets on the lake.

It was a fabulous few days and I'm actually looking forward to the next trip, even if it is a fishing trip..:)

Road trip!!

My husband and I have been looking for a new camper for several weeks. I knew what floor plan I wanted. I also knew the length. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it in Tennessee. For some reason, in Tennessee, if you want 40 feet or bigger, you can find it. Anything smaller than that and it's a no go.

Apparently, Texas isn't the only state who has a saying of 'go big or go home'.

So, hubby and I had to travel all the way to Iowa and Cheyenne Camping Center to get the camper we wanted. A fabulous place by the way. I would highly recommend it if you want a camper. They even gave us a bottle of champagne..:) It's a shame we're not drinkers...lol

And they also do the walkaround in a heated warehouse. Which was perfect considering it was 18 degrees up there the day we picked it up.

The camper we were looking for was a 35 foot, super lite 5th wheel with a rear den. This is what a rear den looks like.

The reason I wanted a rear den was for one, it would seat six comfortably, but it also has opposing slides and sofas. We have two grown kids that still like to go with us and are too big for bunks, so the opposing sofas are perfect. They both make a bed, so they each have their own.

The drive home went well. We stopped halfway and camped in a Walmart parking lot. My first time to do that and other than the traffic noise, it wasn't too bad.

After getting it home, our biggest challenge was getting into the pole barn, which is where it will sleep when it's not on the road...:)

Do you know what happens when you put a camper in a pole barn with inches to spare and then hit the leveling jacks so it's level while it sits?

Massive panic!!

As the auto jacks leveled, they lifted the camper, forcing the vent cover between two rafters. It missed hitting those rafters by a half inch. We know because my brother climbed onto of the camper and crawled through the rafters to make sure there hadn't been any damage...lol

Talk about a close call! From now on, it will just sit in there unlevel. It'll be fine.

Phew! Can't wait for our first camping trip!!

New release....sort of.

It's taken me over a year to get all my EC and Loose Id books re-released. Now i'm working on my Liquid Silver books. The first to be re-released is a book titled, It's Only Physical.

Here's the new cover. Isn't it hot?? :)

It's Only Physical will release at the end of January.

One month after that, A Shot in the Dark will release at the end of February.

A Shot in the Dark is the next book in the Mercenary series. It's also a crossover and will included a very sexy character from the Crime and Punishment series, Master Delacroix...:)

I still have ten more books from Liquid Silver to release, but I'll scatter them in with new releases that I plan on putting out this year, which will include Mike and Carol's story from the Mercenary series, a new menage from the Entwined Fates series, and an interesting mixture of horror and erotic that I've been working on called Dark Desires.

I'm hoping to make 2019 a much more productive year. Keep your fingers crossed I can keep up..:)
